In a move set to enrich the Higher Education landscape in India, Germany’s SRH Distance Learning University (SRH DLU) and Kirloskar Institute of Management (KIM) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Pune.
KIM’s has well-established campuses in Pune and Harihar and long-standing expertise in advanced management education. SRH DLU is a quality leader in distance learning in the German University market, through its outstanding online learning facilities and student support.
"This partnership represents a significant milestone in our mission to provide high-quality education and professional up skilling that is both accessible and relevant to the needs of students in India," said Michael Koch, Head of International Affairs at SRH Distance Learning University. “By combining our extensive online learning experience and academic expertise with KIM's rich management development legacy and physical infrastructure, we are able to create a new standard in educational excellence for future managers.”
Dr. T G Vijaya, of Kirloskar Institute of Management, Pune, echoed these sentiments, stating, “Our collaboration with SRH DLU is a testament to our commitment to fostering innovation in education. Together, we are creating a platform for students to gain a competitive edge in the global marketplace.”
This collaboration will allow students to experience the best of both institutions providing necessary focus on skills necessary to equip young minds to excel in a global market place. By offering hybrid study programs with a presence learning component in India and online learning with faculty from Germany, both institutions look forward to setting new benchmarks in the quality and delivery of higher education in India.
