How to organise your language course abroad
You are responsible for organising your language course abroad yourself. With a PROMOS scholarship, you can receive funding.

This is how your funding works
Language courses abroad lasting between 3 weeks and 6 months can be funded for up to 4 weeks, provided they comprise at least 25 lessons per week.
The monthly scholarship instalment is between EUR 350 and EUR 550 per month, depending on the destination country. A one-off mobility and course fee allowance will also be paid.
This is how you can apply
Submit your complete application documents in English via email to promos@mobile-university.de by the specified deadline (see below).
- Curriculum Vitae in tabular form
- Current certificate of enrolment from SRH Fernhochschule
- Current overview of academic achievements
- Letter of motivation (approx. 1-2 pages) or motivation video
- Concrete description of the planned stay abroad (study visit or language course, country, city, name of the institution, duration, relevance to studies)
- Proof of language proficiency
- Letter of recommendation from a professor or university lecturer at SRH DLU from the applicant's field of study
These are your application deadlines:
- Start of the stay between 1 January - 30 June: November 30 of the previous year
- Start of stay between 1 July - 31 December: June 30 of the same year
